Today, we’re reading the Apostle Paul’s references to the Olivet Discourse in his letters to the Thessalonians and Corinthians. Paul wrote these chapters to clarify confusion about the endurance of the saints as the Great Commission advances and the signs of Jesus’ return. If Paul’s churches could be so confused within 20 years of Jesus’ ascension, imagine how much more we need these chapters 2000 years later.
